For what it may be worth, I have a 7000 kc Command Set crystal. This may have originally been part of the O-4/ARC-5 test oscillator. I've used it as a band edge marker for 40 meters in a BC-458 and 459, replacing a 7000 kc FT-243.

My T-16 and T-17 have crystals as noted in Mike's list.I don't suppose anyone has a spare Y-50 800 kHx crystal to plug into my T-15? (for a reasonable price, of course).Jay KE6PPF -----Original Message-----

Dave,
The Y-50 that is shown is 2100 kHz. That is the correct crystal frequency found in every T-17/ARC-5 that I have ever seen. Likewise:
T-15 800
T-16 1300
Unlike the ATA and the SCR-274-N, there were no standard Y-50 frequencies in the AN/ARC-5, so something different could be found in any transmitter, but I have seen nothing other for T-17.
I listed actual observed Y-50 frequencies for all such transmitters here:

So. I'll bet that $5000 plus shipping looks a bit more tempting now! :-)
