Personal choice: I wouldn't do that for Command Sets
or for a BC-348. Not just price; 
Performance is not a priority for my military sets. 
I have plastic, "Barbie radios"for DX 
and other such mundane pass-times.
But would be very interested in that option
in the case of unobtainable tubes, such as the 
1930s U.K. "Valves" used in the TR9D rig.

I have this file on Google Drive I put there
a long time ago just to save it. It's marked:
