Just curious...Why didn't you prototype it with wire first? It would have been a lot cheaper.
Did it work?????I will be hoot to see one of those in action.

It is 12 feet in circum. like the original so it
may not tune low enough.  I have extentions 
ready to include if needed to "rubber" it down
to 80 CW instead of  the original bottom of 
75 meters.  If it works, it will get cleaned and 
painted black like the original.
