[ARC5] Replacing a cover for 1625 PA section of ARC-5 SCR274-N ATA Tx's?

I have (and each of you probably has) several

otherwise nice looking command Tx's that

are missing the cover that goes over the 1625 PA

section.

Does anyone have an idea where we might get those

made at a reasonable price?

I would recommend we deviate from the original design

and keep it simple. Get the piece cut dimensionally

correct from a light gauge aluminum and pre punched

with 2 holes to fit over the existing cover posts.

That done, then each of us would add (glue) felt

to the underside of the number of covers each of us buys.

The fabricated cover would be secured to the transmitter's

two posts using small hitch pins. Or small cotter pins.

Then have a supplier make us a "Danger - High Voltage"

label on a self adhesive label. Or if feasible and

affordable, have a label made out of a heat resistant

material that would be glued (?) to the cover.

I'm guessing among us there must be a need for at least

a 100 in total of these covers...

Your thoughts?
