Well, suit yourself, but as I have mentioned here, I, and others, have used it very 
successfully for years to ship heavy stuff with never any problems.

As Nick says, try hitting yourself in the head with a piece of the blue stuff, then a 2 X 4 and 
then choose the one that hurts less.
