To get sub-1 MHz frequencies, follow the Prog. Osc.
with a CMOS 4060, which will divide by 32.
i.e. for 455 KC, order a 14.560 MHz.
You could use one of those 4-Oscillator boards
to get
(14.560)  455 IF Alignment,
(14.528)  454 CW
(14.480)  452.5 LSB
(14.640)  457.5 USB
