[ARC5] Roller Iductor setting thread

Seems like an awful lot of “to do” just to get a command transmitter loaded up.  For years I just used fixed series transmitting micas, 100pf for 75 and 50pf for 40M to load into 50 ohms.  
Shunting  the antenna post to ground with the same caps forms an “L” network (for 75 and 40M respectively) which works great for matching a half-wave end fed wire antenna.  In both cases, of course, 
adjust the loading control and roller inductor to achieve the desired loading level.  Also found it useful to pop the little snap-in cover on the side of the chassis to allow access to and adjustment 
of the PA padder capacitor to insure the 1625s were properly dipped all times.  Never worried about how much or how little of the roller inductor remains cranked in at the end of process described above.
