[ARC5] worn dyno commutator

What do you guys do for worn commutators? I just opened up a DM-32 that I recently acquired and it was full of oily dirt.It' s the dirtiest interior I've ever seen for an enclosed unit! It must have been used in a desert sand storm or something...
Can they be economically repaired or is it scrap?
