[ARC5] Audio transformers- rewinding

I believe that only the microphones were feed to the intercom amplifier.

Very true! Also, as I remember reading here, the audio outputs were often fed through that 
intercom "thing", the AIC....something.

Well, I have routinely begun to call them a horrendously loud vibro-massage chair operating 
at below zero and with very little oxygen...at times.
