[ARC5] APN-1 radioaltimeter

The book "The Surplus Handbook Receivers and Transmitters" has a pretty detailed schematic of the APN-1.  I could scan it and send it if you can't find it on-line.

Also, I recall stumbling across a Military Specification that described the APN-1 in detail in the form of a verbal description of the circuits.  Read as if they had written the specification after the fact. Don't know where you would find that other than at a government library with all of the current and former milspecs.
