[ARC5] Mica Capacitor

yeah O kno0w about Corning glass capacitors.  In 1975 when I was an EE undergrad at Penn State the EE student lab got a small truck load of glass caps from Corning which had a television tube factory just 3 miles off campus.   i would expect them to be stable as well HOWEVER in the book "Troubleshooting Analog Circuits', page 42  Bob Pease says " Glass and porcelain are dielectrics that sound like they should have some really fancy characteristics, and excellent dielectric absorption.  But they don't, not very good at all."
I presume this is why Corning stopped making them and the Penn State Student lab got all the remaining stock.

I suspect they are fine in RF applications but pay attention to out stability problems if used in VFOs and don't use in guitar amps if you have golden ears.

I think these use glass as the dielectric. Meant to provide similar
characteristics to mica. One can find ads for them in the old electronic
trade magazines.  There may be spec sheets for them available.
