I have at least one military version, AN/URM-90 (?). I find it very useful to check
components when I am building stuff.

It is especially useful for inductors of unknown value, and to check circuit "Q" where that is
important.

Compared with more modern equipment, it is somewhat "clunky" to use, but to me that is
part of its charm.

I also have working BECO RCL bridge which measures "Q". It is also fun to use.
