Any antenna that is not a multiple of a quarter-wave long will present a reactive impedance. So, use an antenna coupler between your transmitter and your antenna feed-line.
Some simple antenna theory:
a.. Any antenna that is electrically longer than a quarter-wave will be inductive – add capacitance to achieve resonance.
b.. Any antenna that is electrically shorter than a quarter-wave will be capacitive – add inductance – which is already available inside the Command Txs.
c.. A resonant antenna does not need to be straight.

Please tell me how I'm supposed to fit a 33 foot antenna into a 24 foot yard.
