[ARC5] Cloth covered hookup wire

I promised to PM WA4STO with the following information but as others might be interested here it is in email to everyone.
I have made two recent purchased of cloth covered wire  one from TubeDepot.com for 10 foot lengths of 20 AWG 600v wire in variaous colors   

and another order from the Brillman company for various gauges and colors of wire including 10 foot of AWG 10 gauge cloth covered wire for the 2.5vac filament current of the 1935 communications receiver i am currently restoring
I was not able to find 10 gauge cloth covered wire from vendors that cater to the radio restoring community.  Brillman caters instead to those people who restore old tractors.

Nothing negative implied with respect to radio Daze but there are other non-radio restoration customers for cloth covered wire and it is worth shopping around via google and the spread of prices and types of wire is considerable

 While I can sure remember the cloth-covered colorful hookup wire used in early equipment, it appears that JA0BZC was using it in his more recent builds.  See the one pic here that shows the underbelly of his 40 meter amp:
