[ARC5] Help

You say the note changes. Presumably you're listening to the signal with a
monitoring receiver.
If you hear a certain beat note with only the VFO running and the note
changes when the transmitter is keyed, that's normal for a MOPA transmitter.

The critical thing is: does the signal chirp when heard at a distant
location where the operator can't hear the VFO?
