Google says that part number 758-5327-002 is Nat Stock No 5895-00-224-4360. That number in turn leads to hints that it's made by Collins and is related to an/tsc-60a, b.

That 13499 is probably the FSCM (manufacturers) code for Collins...FWIW..

I have a nice doorstop -- a large and heavy cast aluminum box about 8 inches by 10 inches on top and 10 inches deep, with fins on the sides and filled with oil. It has what I think is a C type coax connector on the input and a pair of beehive insulators about 2 inches tall, with a type of silver plated slide-on connector atop each, for the output. The nomenclature plate reads:
179P-25
HF BALUN
DSGN ACT CODE 13499 PN 758-5327-002
SERIAL No. 090
CONTRACT FO4606-77-C-0896 U.S.
An ink stamp near the nomenclature plate reads "REV.D"
No manufacturer name is given. No additional data.
Does anyone have an idea about the characteristics of this unit? I've searched these numbers on line and found nothing.
This came from a field-deployable antenna system kit consisting of at least 2 aluminum towers, guy ropes, some very light weight and flexible long coax lengths with C male connectors, large non inductive termination resistors, etc. I think this must have been a V-beam type antenna, or perhaps a rhombic if it was supposed to have four towers instead of the two found with it in a bunch of surplus.
Looks like it might be rated for a good bit of power.
Could it possibly be a 10:1 or 12:1 balun? If it was intended to be used with a V-beam or rhombic, that would be my guess.
Any help IDing this doorstop will be greatly appreciated!
