By the way, I just looked at a B-36 reference work, and while there were few if any details about the avionics, except a little about the radars, it said that the radio operator also served as the ECM operator.  Which explains those empty racks in the radio operator's compartment.  By the way, did y'all notice the coffee pots in there?

The reference also said that the airplane carried TWO flight engineers.  Presumably one was working and the other off somewhere having a nervous breakdown.
