[ARC5] ARC-5 in the X-1

I have been reading "Into the Unknown" about the X-1 (or XS-1 as it was first known) program.  It mentions the installation of an ARC-5 in the No.1 airplane.  In the past we have seen evidence of the VHF ARC-5 being used in the later X-1A, but it appears it was used in the very first X-1 airplanes as well.
