 Don't forget the BFO coil too.
I've got a BC-453B that was "Range Mod 25-Nov-53"
It's modified to be a BC-946B. Coils,and dial replaced.

Oh, yes, of course, the BFO coil! And the dial, too as Ken points out, and I have spare one of those, anyway.

And really?  They modded a BC-453?  Or did you do that?
