[ARC5] Need HP Style Power Cord

This reminds me of back in 1983, when a guy I worked with bought an old IBM Selectric typewriter and wanted to try interfacing it with a computer, or something.  He was complaining that it did not have a power cord and he did not know where to find one.  During one trip to LA we stopped by All Electronics but he did not find one there, either.  He finally found a place to order one but it was going to cost $30 or something like that.

Finally I said to him, "Look you don't care what kind of power cord it has.  Just cut off an extension cord and wire one into it, solder it place."  He then brightened noticeably and replied, "Of course!  Why didn't I think of that!  Thanks!"
