You are talking about the much more modern IERC connector. The connector I need was proprietary to HP in a much-earlier set of gear than the HP models you have. The pins are round, unlike the IERC connector which has rectangular pins.

I'm a bit flabbergasted by that question. Every piece of HP gear I have that uses a separate power cord, including my HP 8654A and HP3200 oscillators and HP6200 power supply, does use a three prong plug in power supply cord with the ground connection offset from the other two. And those are the exact same cords used on every desktop PC-style computer I have seen for the last 30 years. I have a pile of those cords off old and new equipment and literally have found them tossed aside along the road. WayneWB5WSV
