Jim:
If you look closely at HOW they got that figure of 1.1 kHz, you will see that it
is from the "nose" of the selectivity curve to ONE SIDE.
Therefore, the actually width of the selectivity curve at 2X (6 dB) down, is 2.2
kHz, and at 1000X (60 dB down) the width of the selectivity curve is then 9
kHz.
