That's the story of my ATC. The seller had brought it to numerous hamfests
over a 4-5 yr period. It was beautiful, but he wanted $500-$600 for it to
start. So he took it home many times. I finally got his name and number,
sold off the ART-13s I had, and drove 6 hours to Maine to buy it for $400.
He included an interesting dynamotor and a few other spares with it.

And this was back in 2007 when prices were a LOT higher than now. I think
the 'museum/collector' prices being batted around are extremely hopeful in
today's world. Not many museums are looking for radios of any kind. I still
remember the conversation I heard on HF years ago between a CAF member and
another guy talking about all the BC-375s and other items donated that
routinely got hauled off to the scrapper by the truckload. Museums are
putting out what people want to see, that's how they keep their doors open.
And collectors? Well, to borrow from an old Johnny Horton song - there
isn't quite as many of them as there was a while ago.

FWIW, I seem to recall seeing a NIB ART-13 w/some accessories sell on ebay
in the last 4-5 years for somewhere around $600-$700, along with a
'complete' BC-375 for a bit less.

That's not to say someone won't pay a lot of money for it. The trick is
finding that person, and the time and money involved in doing so.

If I were you Wayne, I'd go look it over and make an offer that you're
comfortable with. If it's an offer the seller agrees with, you've just
found the value. Beyond that, as Robert has said - you really need to know
the model and what's included to even start to get an idea.
