But also imagine that the rack of gear:

1.  Covers nothing below 2 MHz,
2.  Is 12-channel crystal-controlled for both receive and transmit,
3.  Is A3 AM only...no A1 CW capability receive or transmit (except keying PTT).

Regardless, the RT-427/ARC-39 is a neat and curious set.  It is A.R.C.'s last HF set.

I have two RT-427 units, but only one complete set including the mount.
