[ARC5] BC-659 deviation

Got this beast working pretty well ,considering  that I am not using the original test jigs, etc.
I used  my t-17 mike to modulate and it seemed to work but I don't trust t-17 as a test.I injected a tone to see what i needed to ma out the deviation.It looks like 2.5vpp gives max deviation. Does that seem about right?
The only real touchy adjustments on this radio are the transmit oscillator and the discriminator.
I am going to use the 29.600 calling freq on A and 29.100 on the B channel for talk. I think that's all kosher with the FCC as long as I'm above 29 MHZ.Anybody have a better idea?
