[ARC5] OT The BC-659- what were they thinking?

The batteries for the battery operated SCR-609 are carried in CS-79-(*).  
The only other battery used in the system is the BA-41 in the radio.  The 
empty space in the PE-117-C or PE-120-(*) (and PE-97-A) is "officially" for 
stowage of the handset, TM, etc. Actually it's probably there mainly because 
the power supply had to have the same footprint as the radio.
