It may be the same unit my 14 year old son and I re-built for his room.
Very nicely build, basically an AM/ FM stereo receiver with a Garrard record
changer built into the top. My son uses it every day, and occasionally buys
a record or two from a thrift shop to play on it. ARC-5 Content: He also
has a BC band command receiver in his room with the remote tuning head
mounted on his headboard, powered by an ARC dynaverter.

I have the remains of an HH Scott FM and Record Player Stereo I found in a
trashpile. What a superbly made piece of consumer electronics! The genuine
wooden cabinet is pretty nice but the aluminum chassis is downright
beautiful. !Although all solid state, it is built in classic high end tube
type electronics fashion. Made me nostalgic for the good old days.
