I agree with Dave and others as to typical hamfest prices. The R-508/ARC is
part of AN/ARC-60. Used in light aircraft like the L-19 and in light
helicopters like the H-13. It is also the A.R.C. R-19 and used in some civilian
light aircraft in the late 40's and 50's. I wouldn't bother to haul it to a
hamfest. Better chance of getting any more than $20-$25 on eBay.

I bought several (R-19 labels) from Fair about 3 years ago -before they
were cool! - for $20 each if I recall. So I'm with Dave on my hamfest
experiences as well. They are very under appreciated IMHO. They work well, don't
require Ham-mering to be useful and they sound great (transmitters too).

It's "type-12." I love those rigs.
I think they're under-appreciated.
And, sorry to say, even less chance for it getting $60
at a hamfest. I've been 'festing for 40+ years and
never seen one go for more than $20 or $25 at
a hamfest.
