Guys, I cannot speak for hamfest in 6-land or the
east coast, but those I can reach- 
Well, I think if it was shiny-new with dynamotor
and with angels flitting around it singing, 
you wouldn't get a hamfest ham to pay $60 for it.
I'll bet coffee and donuts he takes it back home
at that price.  I wouldn't mind being proven 
wrong on this point, but I'm  pretty confident.

I've about given up attempting to sell WWII-era 
items at hamfests.  Those who show any interest usually
just want to "tire kick" and swap stories  (which can 
be enjoyable) or they want it for pennies.  
Just one man's experience.  YMMV.
