[ARC5] AN/ARC-3 ?

Hello Robert and Group,
Not so. The wiring is very different. The tags referring to which rack you have are warning tags. Having had an AN/ARC-1 set and rack mount and wanting to build up the AN/ARC-4, I found this out by looking at the manuals for each.

As a side note:

The AN/ARC-1 and mount referred to above was gifted to Dave Ross (SK) at one of the MRCG events some years back. I couldn't sell it and Dave was kind enough to take it home in his truck. I was driving a '71 VW van so his charity certainly helped me get back over Questa Grade just north out of San Louis Obispo. As you all who knew Dave know, his other motto was "real radios have motors!" His calling card had "Have TTY. Will Travel" if I remember it correctly. This ARC-1 had the dynamotor and auto tune motor, which was right up Dave's ally.
You know what he said to me as we were parting ways to go home?
I'll probably use this for a door stop......

Regards,
               Jay

If I recall correctly, the MT-101/ARC-4 and MT-230/ARC-1 are interchangable. Or at least the connector mounted on them is the same DP-D32-33S. Seems like to convert one to the other, you rotate the connector 180 deg.

Also, anyone looking for a mount for ARC-4 ? One showed up on my doorstep last week.
