FWIW, the only change to the IF transformers and BFO transformer occurred 
at TCS-8.  TCS through TCS-7 (and 51Q and 56Q) use air core transformers with 
trimmer capacitors.  TCS through TCS-15 use slug tuned iron core 
transformers.  If you have a receiver with a TCS-13 nameplate and air core IF 
transformers, either someone replaced all of them with the earlier type or more 
likely, someone put a TCS-13 nameplate on an earlier model.  Does it have three 
handles on the front panel or a round-nose post in each corner?
