In your search for connectors, do not overlook the ARN-30 VOR set or its civilian equivalent.  The computer/converter for that system has TWO of the standard receiver connectors on it, as does the matching rack.   I don't think there is much interest in that piece of equipment, but it's still useful for spare parts including the top cover, bottom cover and maybe even the chassis.  I got one for free late in 2014.

As for the locking screw for the altimeter, I think that an aircraft instrument overhaul shop is the best source.  The probably have any number of parts units.  I have found two WWII vintage altimeters in the trash at airports myself.
