[ARC5] BC-375ers: TU-22 Tuning Unit.

A man named Ken Cornell wrote and published (circa 1976-1996) a series of books The Low and Medium Frequency Radio Scrapbook. (BTW I'm looking for vol. 8). The early editions feature a box that plugs into the TUs and creates a QRPp oscillator/amplifier. He used these primarily in the 160-190 kc band (aka 1750 meter band) and in the AM broadcast band at the 100 mw level. He also converted a BC306 Antenna Tuning Unit to a 1750 meter transmitter. Someone interested in 600 meter work could use this. If the price can be brought down to earth. I remember seeing some of the HF units selling for upwards of $200.

It's a pre- war unit as well, but I wonder if that dent in the case didn't
transfer to the TU frame. At any rate, about an order of magnitude
overpriced. Especially if you don't own BC-375D S/N 134!

Someone is offering a TU-22 tuning unit. Not mine, etc.
TU-22s are pretty scarce.
The asking price is laughable, but you never know if the guy will accept a
sensible offer.
