[ARC5] Ebay Citations: Item number only -OR- Full URL ?

I think all of us have preferences in this area, but once all the
persuasive arguments are done, we are all going to have different
opinions, and that's fine. If I see something that might be useful to
someone on the group, I will continue to use the short form full ebay
address out of courtesy to those who are time or platform constrained.
I will also continue my practice of including a short description of the
item and why it is related to our communal interest, so that anyone can
decide whether it might be interesting enough to visit. That goes a
long way to avoiding the occasional pirated e-mail address posting we
occasionally encounter here with subjects like "look at this!" and "This
is important!" You never see a coherent description associated with
those traps.

For those who disagree, they are free to do what they wish. Life goes
on. :-)

With respect to the danger it presents, that pales into absolute nothing compared to that from opening attachments...a popular recently-added feature here on arc5.
