[ARC5] Ebay Citations: Item number only -OR- Full URL ?

You left out the step for highlighting and copying the item number from the original text AND the step to paste that into the search box.  Obviously, the process completely described is much more convoluted and lengthy than the simple URL click I describe.

That is an issue with ALL URLs cited in a posting.  But that is a very frequently used and valuable process for this list...one I would not seek to banish.  With respect to the danger it presents, that pales into absolute nothing compared to that from opening attachments...a popular recently-added feature here on arc5.

I suspect we may have a difference of attitude toward this issue! :-)
