  there is no battery. I see no corrosion in the battery compartment nor 
any damage anywhere except a few rubbed spots in the paint. Even the 
rubber over the push-to-talk switch is still flexible.

     I think it is worth at least a couple of hundred dollars.

     I would consider donating it to some 501 (c) 3 charity.
