[ARC5] More Condenser/Capacitor Trivia

Well in Dutch we talk about "condensator" but when it comes to it's 
measurable value we talk about "capaciteit" (capacity).
Books that go back to the early 20's have that already albeit the 
capacitance back then was not expressed in pF or mmfd but in centimeters 
(abbreviated cm) 100 cm was roughly 100 pF for the grid block cap in a 
trf receiver...

My college “Radio Electronics” textbook (1956) used “capacitor.”  The ARRL Handbooks were still using “condenser" in 1952 but had switched to “capacitor” by 1960.  "The Radio Handbook"  (Editors and Engineers), however,  was using  “capacitor” as early as 1947.
