[ARC5] BC-1306 help needed

Like Bill, I have an old flat bed scanner with a SCSI interface, Phillip 
- an Epson Expression 836XL.  Perhaps he keeps his for the same reason I 
keep mine - a 12" x 17" scanning area.  It saves a lot of time that 
would be needed stitching pieces together for many of the standard 
foldouts in military manuals.  Used with the latest Corel Photo-Paint, 
it still does an exemplary job.  I normally scan in 1 bit B&W line art 
mode unless there is a photo on a particular page - then I use gray 
scale to capture the tonal range.
