Ronnie,
The Milsurplus list would be more appropriate.
I offer a reprint of TM 11-230C. The pages are clean and the foldout
schematics are one-piece and straight. The cord used with this radio and the
AN/GRC-9 is CD-1086. It was made in two lengths, 44" and 84". Plus there was
a 50' version for use with the PE-162-(*). CD-1086's have become quite
difficult to acquire. The last one that I saw on eBay was priced at $80.00.
The two connectors are also quite difficult to find, usually going for $35 or
$40 for the past 5 or so years.
The connector insert for the radio end is similar to the ones for the PL-61
or PL-64 except that those two inserts have 8 pins and a guide pin instead
of the full 9. Otherwise, both connectors will plug into the radio but
there is nothing but pin friction to keep them plugged in. It should be
possible to make a connector that would work OK on the bench by drilling through
the guide pin hole and gluing the missing contact in.
