I doubt that Ken.   Nagumo’s air staff were pleading with him to launch
another strike to go after the fuel dumps and maintenance facilities.
Nagumo didn’t.  If he had, the Pacific War would have been much different
and shorter.    Remember, Yamamoto wasn’t really thrilled with Nagumo being
in charge of the attack force.   I forget the reason Yamamoto picked him,
but he wasn’t at the top of the list.    I need to look that up tonight……
