[ARC5] Speaking of RAF Things: UK P8 RAF Compass

I just acquired this very cool UK compass from a local
estate sale.  It will look "spiffy" next to the TR9D, 
if it is indeed WWII RAF Aircraft. 
Google says it was used mid-war in fighters, bombers
using the P10 and P11.
Can our UK members confirm if the "P8" 
magnetic compass is indeed WWII RAF and
is "context correct" with the TR9D?
