[ARC5] Shipping T-22 to Australia

A little off topic regarding ARC5 but I guess Germany is shipper's heaven.
I yesterday shipped a Rockwell-Collins 851S-1 Receiver from Germany to Dallas, TX with DHL Express. Weight is 44 lbs but due to a large triple wall cardboard box 69 cm x 58cm x 41 cm (27" x 23" x 16") I had to pay "volume weight" of 32.8 kg (72 lbs). The package will be in Dallas on Monday and shipping charges were EUR 156.77 which is $171 at today's rate. 
German postal for a parcel up to 31.5 kg (70 lbs) is even cheaper at EUR 95.99 which is $108 but usually takes 2-3 weeks but has taken up to 6 weeks before Christmas. 
A postal parcel includes insurance up to EUR 500 while I had to pay 2% of insured value with my DHL Express shipment.

These DHL Express rates are highly discounted and up to 66% cheaper than published rates and are available through Transglobal Express which is a shipping Broker based in Germany.

Maybe there are shipping brokers in other countries as well.
