The reference to "R-128" is confusing.  :-)

The R-148/ARC-5X is the 14vdc version of the R-23A/ARC-5 (not R-23/ARC-5).  It qualifies as a rare item, IMO...the serial number on the ebay item is 67.

The final price is much lower than the item warrents.  It is complete with its uncommon DY-1/ARR-2X dynamotor, the ID-25/ARC-5 control panel dial, and A.R.C. 9554 tuning key.  The MT-411/ARC-5X rack is the only rare item missing.

It's a remarkable item.
