The BC-1023 12V marker receiver from WWII used a 6U6 for an audio output.
It is a beam tube, octal base standard 7AC pinout. Then of course there are
the space charge grid tubes, I think it is possible to get 50mW at 12VDC on
the plate with a 12C5.

Someone suggested a 14F6 loctal, which, if it existed, I could use.
However, so far, it appears that such a loctal doesn't exist.
There is a 7B5, which is a loctal 6K6, but there is no 14B5 apparently.
Still looking...
I might end up using a 12BY7 or equivalent and an adapter.
