… reminds me of the time in 2002 when I took a radar tube with
uranium seals to the airport on my way to a collector friend in Holland.
The night before was when I found out about the (radioactive) uranium in
the seals. They glow under ultraviolet light, and I could have sworn they
glow in the dark! So then I'm not at sure I was going to be on that flight,
or on my way to: ATLANTA!
Long story short, nobody cared, no alarms went off, nobody even
looked at what was making the funny image in the carry-on. I guess I can
count my lucky stars I wasn't carrying a hacked digital clock! (Or WW II
signal corps miscellany).
