While the "suitcase clock" was contrived,
over-reaction and paranoia are symptoms
 of the decay and collapse of civil society.
While there will be "ups and downs,"
the current trend is ever downward.
The United States is no more immortal than was 
Ur of the Chaldees or Rome or the Byzantine 
or British Empires.  All systems made by Man 
eventually fall to Mankind's corrupt nature. 
"All good things must come to an end."
 After the inevitable "Dark Age" and
 necessary culling of the weak, the lazy and the stupid, 
we'll build something else.
 Until The Almighty gets tired of our folly,
