Hi,

So..we have some people who want to actually violate copyright and 
patents either to profit from sales or only to avoid paying for a 
copyrighted or patented item. And there are some of us who won't even 
look at a book cover at Barnes & Noble or peek under the hood of a new 
car on the showroom floor so as not to violate copyright or patent. And 
the large majority of us who walk the middle ground.

I have borrowed ARRL books from the library, looked at articles in the 
book and returned the books to the library. I continue to use the 
information I read in the book and i have not paid anybody a dime for 
the use of that information. So there is a lot of space in that middle 
ground. In the context of what I have seen on the mail lists we are 
straining at gnats here. Lets all have a coffee or a cold brew, relax, 
and get back to enjoying the hobby.
