[ARC5] AM modulating an "ARC-5" transmitter...

I'm no rocket scientist but wouldn't you use PNP transistor to control the positive voltage from the cathodes of the 1625's? And use a negative voltage to control the base of the transistor. 
Nube with xsistors!

Very interesting.  Article written by Burt Yellin, K2STV.  My Summer 2015 Callbook shows K2STV as Burton Yellin. 
 
Maybe he would have some idea as to the suitable NPN transistors! 
 
Or maybe this is the original K2STV's son but call is NOT shown as a vanity call.
