Yes, it is.  The thing is, they mention the vintage ARN-14 VOR receiver 
but then indicate the F-86 had 720 VHF channel radios.  They did not... 
The F-86( ) had ARC-3, ARC-49, and ARC-27 (UHF) radio sets, depending on 
the date.  Some of the last, if the THE last, F-86's in use were those 
assigned to the MD Air Guard at Martin State Airport (Baltimore).  They 
had ARC-27 or ARC-55 UHF radios.  That said, I'm sure the Chino (et al) 
F-86s do have full capability VHF, for obvious reasons.
