[ARC5] Interest in "command" sets - where is a new generation?

I am slowly complying a document, with a photo, serial number, description including any special features, of all the items in my amateur radio equipment and of my antique / vintage radio collection.  This will include a top price to ask, an average price, and a minimum price to get for the item.  This will be kept on my computer and a CD with the information will be given to my wife and to each of my 3-daughters.
My wife really doesn't care about my equipment.  Fortunately, all 3 of my daughters do recognize the value and will not let the vultures get at the equipment.  I know that there are a number of items in my antique / vintage collection that all 3 daughters would like to have and my youngest daughter, and her son, are interested in some of my amateur radio equipment for their own use. Believe it or not , I got a chuckle out of that scenario! It reminded me of an instruction I gave to my wife in case of my untimely demise. 

One of the local radio clubs here ( there are several) has what I call the "vulture crew' that preys upon unwitting widows of SKs. They tell them that the stuff is "for the club" to get it donated or dirt cheap, then they either keep it for their own collection or flip it for personal profit. Whatever is left after that, is donated to clubs hamfest table to be sold. I instructed her to close the door in their faces and lock it if they come calling. I told her to sell the stuff on ebay after doing a little price research there.  At least that way someone knows what it is and will use it, and wifey gets a few bucks. win-win.
